About
I am a Computer Science PhD candidate at PUCRS working in the area of character animation, visual perception and synthetic vision for virtual agents.
I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PUCRS (2021) and worked as a scientific initiation student for two years at Virtual Humans Simulation Laboratory (VHLab) under the orientation of Professor Soraia Raupp Musse. I started pursuing my PhD at PUCRS in mid 2022 after working in the industry for a year and a half.
During my PhD, I also spent a year in École Polytechnique de Paris for an internship collaboration with Professors Marie-Paule Cani and Damien Rohmer on the VISTA research group.
My research interests include computer animation focused on virtual characters and behavioral animation, computer vision applied to virtual agents, authoring tools for artists, and most topics related to computer graphics!
I also have experience working in the industry as a game developer. You can check my industry projects on this website as well.
